school and such

Dear Rachel,
First of all, I love the picture of the cows.  I have the picture hanging on my wall that your mom got me.  (Remember?  The one with the cow?)
Second.  You know that I love records.  I absolutely can not get enough of my Bill Cosby record you gave me.  I found out about a little record store is not too far from my house.  WE should visit there the next time you visit me.  I think that would be fun.  It sounds like a really good place.
I really wish we could talk more on the phone.  School seems to be so busy lately.  Getting all my homework done at night and hardly texting you is hard some nights.  We haven't skyped in forever and that makes me sad.  Normally, that would be my fault because I always seem to be doing something when you are free.  We will try to plan that all better during the rest of the year.
I absolutely love Hillsong's music.  We sang that song last week every morning at school.  It made me happy that you wrote that too me the same week.
I am glad you are enjoying school.  Do you ever feel like you are the only one who does?  Sometimes I look around the room and everyone is half asleep.  I generally don"t notice because I am so engaged in the lecture.  I think this year is going to be a good year for me academically.  I just want you to keep up your zeal for learning!
Hope you have a great Friday tomorrow!
Love,
Rebekah (Beka)

You're the best

Dear Rebekah,
It was wonderful feeling like a little kiddo again. I often miss that. Growing up has it perks but I think no one fully grows up and those who do don't enjoy life. There's always a part of us that longs to not have a care in the world except for who's coloring with the red crayon. I wish life was just that easy.
I do miss camp. I miss Nate. But I miss you more (believe me or not). I wish on random nights I could bring you a sno cone or that we could have sleep overs on the weekends, its not the same on the computer.
Thank you for making my summer so special. Its been the best seeing you more often then I have been and I feel we've grown even closer then we were. You're such a kind, sweet girl. You are GOLDEN and near and dear to my heart. I cherish you as my bestest friend and no one could ever replace you. Please never forget that.
The song Forever Reign by Hillsong has been my strong hold for encouragement lately, here are some words: "I'm running to your arms, running to your arms. The riches of your love will always be enough, nothing compares to your embrace. Light of the world forever reign... My heart will sing no other name, Jesus. Jesus." I love this song. Jesus is in control. He always has been and He always will be. I am praying for abundant amounts of love to lavish on those who don't deserve it. Just like the Lord lavishes us with love we don't deserve.

Lovelovelove you most.

P.S. This was at the rehearsal dinner for the wedding and I thought of you... since you're going to be a cow farmer some day.

Bye.

Dear Rachel,

Remember when we had that Disney party just a few days back?  And remember how we watched the Food Network for the first part of the night.  Being with friends, watching food, making food, eating food, and watching Disney totally made my night.  I am so glad we got to relive some childhood memories together.  Not only were we together, but we were also with friends.
I know you miss your camp friends now.  I also know that you are missing me.  Do you want to know how I know that?  I know that you miss me right now because I miss you so much!  Well, we did not really get to say a proper good-bye.  I know it is only for a short time, but as always when you go, it seems like forever.  I don't have much more to say to you right now except that I am praying for you.  We are starting another year at school soon.  We don't have many more left.  Let's make it the best year yet.  We may not get to see each other in person often, but we will be thinking and praying for each other all the time.  We will skype often and text even more.  You are amazing and I can't tell you how much I have treasured this summer and the time spent with you!  Have a safe drive!

Love,
Rebekah
